I loved it.. Mann brings some of the style and assurance he brought to Heat and Thief.. It's straight-up entertainment, not something to see and then talk about a month later, but definitely something to enjoy.. The best thing Mann brings to his picture is a strong sense of time and place.. A crime drama made with immense skill.. Collateral isn't a shockingly original motion picture.
