A sterling example of the new Australian noir.. Affectlessness is not a quality much prized in movie protagonists, but Billy Bob Thornton, that splendid actor, does it perfectly as Ed Crane.. It doesn't attain Fargo heights, but it's still a victory.. Is Gondry aware that he's making a film about both white male privilege and sexual harassment in the workplace?. The Rover does have a central nervous system that crackles and pops with suspense, but in the end it's not enough to jump-start the lac...
